Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation of Treatment Plans: Execute individualized ABA treatment plans designed by BCBAs, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
- Data Collection: Accurately collect and record data on client progress during sessions to inform treatment adjustments.
- Client Interaction: Engage clients in structured and play-based activities, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to clients' families and caregivers, helping them implement strategies at home and in the community.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with BCBAs and other team members to ensure consistent and effective implementation of treatment plans.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in ABA therapy.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required. If not certified, Therapia Autism will assist in obtaining certification.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework in psychology, education, or related fields is preferred.
- Experience: Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Passion: A genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with autism and their families.
