Strom Minnesota is currently looking for a Cabinet Maker for our client in Maple Grove.  Hours are 6:am-3:15pm M-Th & 6:am-11:am on Fri.

Job Summary:

The Cabinet Maker position will encompass operation of woodworking machines, use of hand tools, prepare measurements of interior space, and the ability to read and understand shop drawings.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment such as handsaws, table saw, skill saws, and a variety of drills and sanding tools.
• Be exact in measurements and markings so that materials will be used efficiently, and the projects will meet budgetary restrictions.
• Regularly monitors cabinetry process to ensure efficient manufacturing.
• Maintain quality standards of cabinetry produced.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
• Ability to work as a part of a team and can communicate well with other departments and personnel
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools and saws
• Understanding of necessary mathematics         

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior cabinetry experience preferred
• At least two years related experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

·         Ability to pass drug testing

·         Prolonged periods of standing

·         Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times
