Job DescriptionJob Description

You will work directly with the CEO and owner of two companies located in McDonough as a personal assistant and commercial handyman in this role. You will eventually gain unlimited opportunity for advancement in a manufacturing company where a wide variety of skills can be learned. These skills include, but are not limited to: welding, machining, powder-coating, heavy equipment mechanic, CAD drawing, and mechanical engineering.

The right candidate will demonstrate reliability, honesty, determination, good judgement, willingness to do manual labor, and a can-do attitude This role will entail a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

• Property and building upkeep + maintenance
• Landscaping
• Property renovations (carpentry, painting, electrical work, etc.)
• Operating various types of equipment (skid steers, compact excavators, pressure washer, lawn mower, etc.)
• Driving company vehicles, pulling trailers, and transporting equipment

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Eight hour work days (Monday through Friday)
• Over-time as needed
• Occasional weekend work
• Occasional travel

 

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE DESIRED

• Good driving record (required)
• Towing experience (preferred)
• Mechanical, electrical, grounds-keeping, and general maintenance abilities (are a plus)

 

EDUCATION

• High school diploma or equivalent
