Property Ambassador Job Description

Responsible for the overall management of assigned units including the guest’s experience, marketing, administration and quality control.

Guest Experience - to ensure all guests enjoy their unit, their stay and their interaction with the company and those associated with the company.

  • Conduct orientation for new guests to the people, property and company
  • Arranging for key exchange
  • Make guest move in as smooth as possible
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints and concerns in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain timely communications with guests

Quality Control - to ensure that each unit is guest ready.

  • Coordinating the unit turn
  • Hiring cleaners and other specialized vendors
  • Shopping for items that need replacement
  • Decorating
  • Assembling furniture and hanging pictures
  • Restock cleaning supplies
  • Finishing touches for the unit

Marketing - to increase brand awareness, leads and industry relationships.

  • Develop and maintain a social media presence
  • Advertise to increase qualified leads
  • Keep occupancy rates high
  • Obtain referrals from existing guests
  • Promote and show units to prospective guests
  • Develop and maintain relationships with property managers and property owners

Administration - to ensure inbound requests and inquiries are handled appropriately and all paperwork is in compliance.

  • Negotiate, prepare and enforce leases
  • Complete all required paperwork for new guests
  • Collect security deposits
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Enforce terms of rental agreements
  • Enforce occupancy policies and procedures
  • Answer the phone, respond to emails and texts
  • Handle requests and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Process applications and follow up with applicants
  • Establish appropriate rental rates by conducting market research, determining costs and considering profit goals
  • Prepare and distribute monthly statements
  • Ensure timely payments and collections
  • Coordinate default proceedings
  • Check and pay all bills and invoices
  • Maintain receipts and records of payments
  • Monitor and complete maintenance and repairs efficiently and cost-effectively
  • Ensure security of premises and maintain security devices
  • Organize incoming and outgoing inspections and prepare inspection reports
  • Implement preventative maintenance program
