RPh on the Go has a pharmacist in Charge job in Garland, Texas.
This job will run three months + with chance for direct hire for the right candidate.
Shift is days, Monday - Friday, some Saturdays.
As the Pharmacist in Charge, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of pharmaceutical compounding operations,
ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the compounding pharmacy operations, including but not limited to compounding, dispensing, inventory management, and quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing compounding practices, including USP 795, and 797guidelines.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality and safety standards in compounding operations.
- Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other support personnel, to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to protocols.
- Provide leadership and guidance to pharmacy staff on compounding techniques, best practices, and quality control measures.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop customized medication solutions tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain accurate records of compounded medications, including ingredients used, batch numbers, and expiration dates.
- Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay current on compounding practices, pharmaceutical developments, and regulatory requirements.
IV certification is required.
However, our client will assist with obtaining IV certification if a candidate does not have it.
Requirements:
- Retail pharmacy experience.
- IV certification (client will help obtain)
- Compounding experience a plus (will train).
- Texas pharmacy license.
Income is payable every Friday.
