Position Overview:
As a Lending Supervisor at Citizens FCU, you will take a leadership role in our lending department, overseeing the loan origination process and ensuring the delivery of top-notch financial solutions to our members. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of lending practices, credit analysis, and regulatory compliance to drive success in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Mentoring: Provide leadership and guidance to the loan officer team. Mentor junior loan officers and contribute to their professional development.
2. Credit Analysis: Conduct in-depth credit analysis and risk assessment for complex loan applications, providing recommendations to the credit committee.
3. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic initiatives for the lending department.
4. Member Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with members, acting as a trusted advisor for their financial needs.
5. Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and credit union policies. Stay updated on industry trends and changes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 experience as a loan officer, with a track record of successful loan origination and portfolio management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of lending practices, credit analysis, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in using loan origination software and other relevant financial tools.
