General Statement of Duties:  The Women’s Athletic Recruiting Liaison serves the Academy by acting as the link between undergraduate admission and female athletic programs. This position manages the recruitment process of female student-athletes in conjunction with the coaching staff. 

Responsibilities

·       Responsible for the recruitment of undergraduate (freshman and transfer) athletes.

·       Serves as an active member of the Freshman Recruitment team; assists with special programs and research projects; participates in the development and implementation of enrollment strategies directed at female student-athlete enrollment.

·       Provides accurate information about MMA degree programs and admission procedures.

·       Coordinates on-campus visits for student-athletes, along with scheduling any specific meetings necessary.

·       Evaluates high school transcripts and other academic information on athletes in order to advise coaches, students, and families.

·       Assists with the coordination of athletic open houses and schedules coaches' attendance for all open houses and prospect visits.

·       Provides basic financial aid information to prospective student-athletes and families, including the explanation for the financial aid process. Works with the Director of Athletics to help reach enrollment goals by sport.

·       Attend and recruit at perspective student-athlete athletic events and tournaments.

·       Assist coaches to manage their individual recruiting database so students can be quickly reassigned, when appropriate, from one coach to another coach.

·       Complete the process of working with athletes from their first interest in MMA, to assign to a coach, to their enrollment.

·       Recommend and implement strategies to meet enrollment goals for athletics and MMA.

·       Maintain and update the recruiting database with accurate information on PSA information.

Qualifications and Requirements

·       Bachelor's degree 

·       Experience in collegiate athletics as an athlete or coach or admissions experience

·       Valid driver's license

·       Ability to work nights & weekends, as needed
