Job DescriptionJob Description

Proman Skilled Trades is currently seeking experienced Sheet Metal Fabricators for a large shop located in the Houston area. 

Duties:

- Operate press brake machine to bend and shape metal according to specifications
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Rig and move heavy metal components for fabrication
- Perform machining tasks such as drilling, tapping, and milling
- Fabricate ductwork for HVAC systems
- Utilize plasma cutting equipment to cut metal sheets and plates
- Apply mechanical knowledge to assemble and build metal structures
- Perform pipe threading and soldering for plumbing applications

Experience:

- No experience required in metal fabrication or related field
- Proficient in operating press brake machines and other metalworking equipment
- Knowledge of machining techniques and tools preferred
- Experience in fabricating ductwork for HVAC systems is a plus
- Driver License or State Identification required
