As an Audit Supervisor/Senior, you will play a pivotal role in leading audit engagements, managing teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing audit planning, execution, and reporting processes.

- Prepare and review workpapers of supporting staff.

- Reviewing financial statements and identifying areas for improvement.

- Providing guidance and mentorship to audit staff.

- Assistance with implementation of New Accounting Standards.

- Cultivating client relationships and addressing their needs effectively.

- Staying abreast of industry developments and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

We're seeking candidates who possess:

- CPA certification or in progress of pursuit thereof.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

- 4+ years of audit experience in a public accounting firm.

- Strong technical proficiency in auditing standards and practices.

- Working knowledge of CCH Pro FX Engagement.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

 

 

Company DescriptionAlario & Associates was founded in 1990 by Jeffrey D. Alario, CPA. After 7 years of public accounting experience in a midsized firm in northern New Jersey, Jeff saw the need for a more personalized approach to the traditional CPA firm services.

Today we service privately held businesses and clients primarily throughout the metro New York area.

Our staff consists of a seasoned team of individuals with in-depth experience in various disciplines in tax and accounting.

Most of our staff has been with the firm for over 7 years. We are a group of professionals you will consider your accounting family.

Our firm is large enough to attract good talent to provide top-notch services, yet small enough to have a close working relationship with all our clients.

We have 4 CPA’s and 3 accountants on staff, as well as a team of para-professionals, several of whom have been with the firm for over 15 years.

Our business consists of privately held companies in various industries and sizes from $500K to $500 million in revenue. They include the following:
