ASSOCIATED HEALTHCARE CREDIT UNION has an open position for a full time loan officer for our St. Paul MN office. This position will work with members to take loan applications, underwrite, close loans, and prepare and/or send required disclosures. They will be available to answer questions that members have and be able to help members decide on what option of loan will best fit their situations. 

Job Description:
Work independently obtaining, reviewing, and underwriting, loan applications from consumers Answer loan questions/inquiries
Maintain education necessary to be knowledgeable in all areas of the loan process
Cross-sell credit union products and services to members
Build relationships with current and future members

The person who will fill this position will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work independently with little supervision, be comfortable talking about credit union products and services, handle interruptions easily and be able to get back onto task quickly, organized, and enjoy working with the public.

Qualifications and Benefits:
To qualify for the loan officer position you must have:
High School or higher education
At least one year of consumer lending and preferably some home equity/HELOC experience.
Previous sales experience.

Be comfortable working with members through various forms of communication. For example, phone, chat, online, and in office.
