Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document requirements and functional specifications for IT solutions.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and document on-going support plans for IT solutions.

  • Create and update internal documentation for our IT solutions, such as design documents, intranet articles, internal FAQs, test cases, configuration guides, and best practices.

  • Create and update technical documentation for external use such as user manuals, release documentation for technical discussions with partners, and supporting documentation for regulatory approvals.

  • Ensure technology documentation adheres to quality standards and best practices.

  • Align with stakeholders to develop objectives and outline scope requirements.

Essential Functions

  • Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Technology is preferred, but not required.

  • 5 years of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.

  • Experience creating user manuals, UI mockups, standard operating procedures (SOP), application programming interface (API) documentation, case studies, and white papers.

  • Ability to contribute to technical discussions and accurately summarize technical information in documentation that is consumable at various business levels and functions.

  • Ability to successfully work across cultures and locations, driving team cohesion.

  • Experience in gaming, hospitality, retail, or similar industry is preferred.

  • Superior communication (both written and verbal) & interpersonal skills are required.

  • Detail-oriented with a demonstrated history of working autonomously and delivering quality work products.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with a wide range of stakeholders including developers, architects, vendors, business stakeholders, senior management, and technical teams.

  • Experience using tools such as Smartsheet, Trello, etc. to manage workload and facilitate stakeholder collaboration.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).

The annual salary range for this position is $78,000 to $102,375. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.

Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements

As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.

In addition, candidates must comply with and support the company's responsible gambling policies, procedures and initiatives.

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
