Real Estate Investment Associate

Our innovative and growing company is looking to fill the role of Real Estate Investment Associate. Real Estate Investment Associate Responsibilities:

  • Active member of the team charged with identifying, sourcing, underwriting, and executing any and all potential real estate opportunities, commercial, residential, multi-family housing investments, anywhere across the country.
  • Research local real estate markets and thematic trends to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Source acquisition opportunities by building and maintaining relationships across markets, potential sellers, and calling on intermediaries to generate property leads.
  • Evaluate potential acquisitions.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on target properties, including traveling to sites and markets to conduct on-the-ground underwriting and analysis.
  • Communicate and present investment opportunities to company leadership.
  • Work collaboratively across the company to inform underwriting and investment recommendations.
  • Job Cost reporting and monitoring of project budgets
  • Sourcing for great leads since becoming a successful real estate investor depends on ability to source great leads
  • Running numbers to ensure that there is a good probability of realizing decent returns on potential investments
  • Utilizing real estate investment analysis and valuation tool
  • Preparing detailed budgets and financial reports for properties

Qualifications for real estate investment:

  • A university degree in a business- or finance-related discipline necessary
  • 5+ years of real estate and/or private equity experience
  • Knowledge of AutoCad and ability to read detailed plans
  • Knowledge of Codes, Structures and Testing required
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and financial concepts
