SeedGeeks is seeking a motivated, highly-organized individual for a full time seed packing position. Ideal candidate will be self-motivated, reliable, and flexible.

Organized and reliable individuals seeking meaningful year-round work in a small business with room to grow.

Schedule: Full Time, Monday – Friday 9:30am-4:30pm

Compensation: $16-$19 per hour, depending on experience

Duties will include:

  • Methodically fill seed packets with precision, care and efficiency.
  • Operate & maintain various seed counters and seed packing machines. Experience will these machines are a plus, but not required.
  • Use a variety of tools, such as calculators, scales, bag sewers, seed packing machinery, etc.
  • Accurately weigh and quality check products using scales and other measurement tools.
  • Identify & maintain seed packet inventory needs.
  • Timely fulfillment of seed packet work orders to meet inventory goals.
  • Restock supplies as directed.
  • Other duties as assigned to support general production goals.

Skills, Qualifications, & Knowledge Required:

  • Exceptional attention to detail while being proficient and efficient
  • Familiarity with weights & measures.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage various tasks at once
  • Ability to work independently and occasionally as part of a team
  • Good attitude and strong work ethic
  • Reliable transportation
  • Enthusiasm for heirloom, open pollinated seeds & sustainable living
