RPh on the Go is actively searching fora highly skilled and experienced Oncology Pharmacist willing to work in Mishawaka. IN. This is a full time position, working Monday-Friday, days shifts.As an Oncology Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in our pharmacy specializing in oncology infusion and chemotherapy services. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of prior experience in oncology pharmacy and hold an active and clear Louisiana Pharmacist License.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispensing medications and chemotherapy agents accurately and efficiently.
  • Compounding sterile preparations for chemotherapy administration.
  • Monitoring patient profiles to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers to develop and adjust treatment plans.
  • Providing patient education on medication use, side effects, and self-care strategies.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy operations.
  • Contributing to the overall functioning of the oncology pharmacy team.

Requirements:

  • Active and Clear Indiana Pharmacist License.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in oncology pharmacy.
  • Strong understanding of chemotherapy agents and their administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and compounding.
