Pride Health is hiring for a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support our client’s medical facility based in Jacksonville, FL. This is a 3-month assignment (contract to hire) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization

Responsibilities:

  • Processing non-compound prescriptions and verify appropriate information.
  • Sterile compounding of prescriptions.
  • Inventory management,
  • Ability to solve problems for which standards solutions may not be available; can identify problem and deter best solution.
  • Ability to handle multiple activities and deadlines.
  • Ability to perform tasks or other activities with limited opportunities for deviation from approved practices and procedures.
  • General knowledge of all state and federal regulatory requirements, i.e. HIPAA, 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1+ years retail, mail order, long-term care, or hospital experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Valid pharmacy tech license in the State of Florida.

Job Title: Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Schedule: M-F 7:30 am- 6:30 pm (variable shifts)
Pay Range: $18 to $23/hr

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
