Job DescriptionJob Description
  • Conduct job duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Performs complete adult echocardiogram and 3D imaging with/without imaging contrast.
  • Maintains CE requirements for the ICAEL accreditation.
  • Reports to Lead Tech for clinical application needs and Non-Invasive Testing Manager for administrative needs.
  • Perform computer acquisition and processing of echocardiograph data and images for interpretation by cardiologists in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines and the company’s established policy and procedure.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Adhere to compliance policies and procedures. Report any incident that appears/deficient to the department supervisor/manager.
  • Perform work-related duties as directed. The job duties and responsibilities of the Sonographer - Echo include but are not limited to the previously described areas of duties and responsibilities.
  • Ensure proper operation of equipment and performance of all echocardiograph studies.
  • Properly complete patient’s billing sheet to include appropriate CPT codes and ICD codes specific to the ordered diagnostic testing.
  • RCS, BLS, RDMS certifications required within one year of hire.
