** With at least 2 years of experience working as a Quality Assurance or Quality Control in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
Job Title: Quality Control Associate / Technician
Location: Montezuma, GA
Duration: 3 - 4 months contract (may extend depending on the client needs)
Work schedule: 1st shift 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (Wednesdays and Saturdays off)
Pay Rate: $16.00 - 18.00 an hour (Actual offer will depend of experience)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform tests on production operations and equipment to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor and inspect product quality at various process control points, rejecting or retaining substandard products outside of defined tolerances.
- Discuss inspection results with responsible parties and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of paperwork, using computer software and electronic equipment to enter data as required.
- Enforce compliance with health and safety standards, including the use of PPEs, and follow company GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Establish and maintain strong communication with all departments, acting as a resource for food safety processes, procedures, and equipment.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control environment is preferred.
- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Able to utilize standard processes, procedures, and equipment.
- Prior experience with HACCP a plus
- Able to perform essential math functions, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:
- General high school degree/GED or equivalent preferred
- Prior work in a related field would be an advantage.
- Certificate in Food Handling, Culinary Arts, or other related training or education is helpful.
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Must be 18 or older to apply as required for machinery and/or equipment utilization
