We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers at Kind2Care in Sacramento, CA.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and promoting their independence. Responsibilities of the Caregiver:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
  • Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social activities
  • Monitor and report changes in client's physical and mental condition
  • Implement behavior management techniques when necessary
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Adhere to resident rights and maintain confidentiality at all times

Requirements to be a caregiver:

  • Some caregiving experience needed (or willing to train/learn)
  • Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI background clearance
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive drug screen
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalence
  • Must possess a Social Security Card
  • Must be able to attain Home care Aid (HCA) cleared status
  • Proof of current TB testing (or willing to attain)
  • First Aid and CPR Certified (or willing to attain)
  • Must be physically lift and able to perform the functions of this position
  • Have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of sufficient automobile insurance (when applicable)
  • Satisfactorily complete Kind2Care HomeCare online training modules as assigned
  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules
  • Successfully complete the State of California Department of Social Services Home Care Aide Registry requirements, DMV check, and drug screen.
  • Experience in dementia care and hospice care is a plus
  • Experience with shift care (software) is a plus
