Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Evening Charge Nurse to join our team. Our modern and peaceful Convent is home to Catholic Religious Sisters who have dedicated their lives to serving others. We strive to promote each sisters inter-dependence. We are looking for a compassionate nurse, who will give the highest quality of care. As an Evening Charge Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care to our sisters and ensuring the smooth operation at the Convent. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent clinical knowledge, and the ability to effectively communicate with our sisters, families, and healthcare professionals.

Duties:
- Facilitate the sister's well-being and providing nursing intervention to promote the sister's independence
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Facilitate sisters with ADL's as needed
- Perform assessment and reassessments to determine sisters needs and establish appropriate plans
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff
- Provides intervention to respond to emergencies and concerns
- Maintain accurate medical charting and required documentation under the sisters of the Presentation regulatory guidelines
- Works closely with sisters to develop and implement appropriate Plan of Care
- Reports to the Nurse Coordinator

Requirements:
- Currently holds an active RN/LPN license and registration to work in NY
- CPR Certified (BLS required or ACLS desired)
- Experience and knowledgeable in geriatric nursing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and good decision making
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Salary: $31.00 - $33.00 per hour
