Job DescriptionJob Description

The Customer Service Receptionist of Haute Dogge Grooming Salon is the first point of contact for clients and plays an integral role in maintaining and enhancing the image and profile of the organization. This position provides clerical, administrative and operational support as required.

Essential Job Functions

Answer all incoming telephone calls, direct to appropriate person or take messages as required, booking of all appointments and        answering any questions related to price of services provided, directions to facility, hours of operation, etc.

Works in the reception area, including meeting and greeting visitors; provide assistance as required; check in and check out of pets.

Update customer and pet information daily into computer. This includes vaccination records and all release forms

Checking of voice mail messages daily and returning calls and/or handling messages as per voice mail message.

Manage incoming/outgoing mail in accordance with organizational procedures.

Responsible for all retail items, including inventory accuracy, reordering, research new products and assisting customers.

Maintain an inventory of office stationery and office incidental supplies.

Assist on managing supplies and reorders as required

Receiving shipments, counting of product and signing off on packing slips.

Maintaining stock of brochures.

To promote Haute Dogge Grooming Salon and Haute Dogge Unleashed Mobile Grooming with a positive attitude, smile, warm greeting and a passion to “delight” the customer.

Supportive Job Functions

Assist in the marketing, promotion and implementation of products and services.

Provide administrative support to other employees, not only on a day-to-day basis but also at special events and functions such as trade shows, and during times outside normal business hours.

Balancing of daily cash drawer and bank deposit.

Cleaning duties. Retail area and grooming areas.

Assisting with pets upon arrivals and departures.

 

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills, oral and written, including the ability to handle difficult people and situations, multi-tasking, strong organizational skills.

Ability to work in a team environment and interact effectively with a diverse range of people.

Experience in the use of computer applications and telephone reception.

Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision, planning and prioritizing work effectively and demonstrating excellent receptionist/customer service skills.

Being punctual for shift schedule.

Present a positive image to customers
