Audio Visual Technician

David Michael Productions, Inc is currently seeking an organized, reliable, detail and service-oriented audio visual technician to join our growing warehouse team. In this position, you will work closely with the Operations Manager, Inventory Manager, Project Managers, and Director of Account Management. Position requires a flexible work schedule including traveling, weekends and holidays. Position will maintain 40 hours per week and overtime will be required and realized throughout the year.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurately scan and pull equipment from warehouse utilizing Flex Inventory System
• Ability to load and unload equipment onto trucks with warehouse staff
• Double check equipment pull lists for each event while in warehouse
• Quality Control: inspect departing and returning equipment for damage, missing parts, etc.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by the Operations Manager while in the warehouse

While on show site if applicable:

• Responsible for accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of AV equipment including but not limited to: audio, video, lighting, and graphics
• Ensure equipment is secure from theft and damage while in use
• Provide excellent customer service and strive to exceed the expectation of our clients

Requirement and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associates degree from Arts, Technical or related field preferred
• Previous experience in AV industry a plus
• Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Suite and Flex inventory system
• Physical stamina, able to work long hours on one’s feet and lift 50+ pounds
• Excellent organization and efficient time-management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in extreme heat and extreme cold within warehouse with dock doors open.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime shifts as required
• Ability to work independently
