$17-hour, Temp to Hire

Richmond, IL

1st Shift Monday - Friday 5:30 am- 2:00 pm

 

Introduction Statement:

Associates will work in a pallet and lumber manufacturing plant that uses a combination of automated and heavy machinery, as well as manual labor. Exceptional candidates will receive training in higher-earning positions such as Pallet Building, Pallet Repair, and pallet dismantling. The high-skilled position makes $30hour - $35 an hour.

Responsibilities:

·         Hand sorting mixed sizes and varieties of wooden pallets and skids

·         Loading or unloading, stacking, and unstacking lumber going into or coming out of saws

·         Building or dismantling wooden pallets using nail guns, hammers, crowbars, and table saws

Requirements:

·         Climb, stretch, pull, bend, and lift (50 lbs.)

·         Comfortable working in a loud, non-climate-controlled manufacturing space

·         Ability to work on own initiative, independently, and to deadlines.

·         Well organized, punctual, and reliable.
