Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will work with various industries QuickBooks, prepare financial statements, prepare individual and business tax returns, and prepare quarterly payroll tax forms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.

Responsibilities
  • Enter financial data and transactions
  • Analyze financial information
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Prepare financial reports and statements
  • Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
  • Enter income and financial data into tax software; UltraTax

Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field
  • Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
