Dox is seeking a Technical Writer who has strong writing, organizational, and communication skills. Dox is an IT and cyber security company that helps clients across industries secure their environments through IT support and consulting, security assessments, remediation services, and other digital support methods. No background in IT is required for this position, but the ideal candidate must be willing and eager to learn about the field throughout the course of performing their writing-based role responsibilities.
Our ideal candidate has:
1. A passion for writing (fictional, creative, personal...you name it)
2. Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
3. The ability to summarize complex, technical concepts into simple, digestible explanations
4. A stellar track record monitoring and meeting deadlines
5. High proficiency working with Microsoft products
6. A desire to learn something new every day
Role responsibilities will include:
· Performing topic-specific research, technical writing, and content editing
· Proofreading and editing to enhance the grammar and spelling accuracy of written content
· Working alongside engineers (technicians, security analysts, ethical hackers, etc.) to document concerns
· Creating written documentation of client issues, including supporting annotations and references (marked-up images, screenshots, etc.)
· Writing content that resonates with all audiences, no matter their level of expertise on the topic at hand
· Working primarily in Microsoft Word and Excel alongside Dox's other technical writers

· Have no interest in expanding your knowledge of the IT industry and the regulatory compliance guidelines Dox clients must follow

· Already know everything there is to know about technical writing
