Am established multi-specialty group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their primary care team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population, ensuring high-quality care and promoting wellness and prevention. This role involves working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations.
  • Provide acute, chronic, and preventive care services, including patient education and counseling.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate, in accordance with state regulations.
  • Perform minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, and other office-based interventions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity and coordination of care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to enhance clinical skills.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards of practice.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited PA or NP program.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Florida.
  • Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for PAs or appropriate board certification for NPs.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a primary care or family practice setting is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge in primary care, including preventive care and chronic disease management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
