Registered Nurse

Established aesthetic surgery practice located in Newport Medical Plaza near Fashion Island, seeking a F/T Registered Nurse to join our team. Candidates should have had med-surg experience but our lead RN will provide extensive onboarding.
- Business hours: Monday-Friday, no weekends. Shifts scheduled according to the surgical schedule.
- Prerequisites: unrestricted State of California Nursing license, ACLS, health screening (TB, Hepatitis, etc.), great interpersonal skills and enthusiasm to learn. Ability to start immediately.
- Duties include but are not limited to
- Patient care: consults, preop visits, postop wound care, suture removal, IVs. Risk management;
- Nurse manager: inventory control of anesthesia drugs, ordering, assisting with patient and staff education events, participates with maintenance of licensure of office based surgical suite via (AAAA= American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical facilities);
- Periop nursing: preop admits, circulating, postop recovery, specimen processing, breast implant registry;
- Potential areas of career development:
- Relief surgical assisting;
- Preceptorship in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, microneedling;
