Do you enjoy troubleshooting and solving difficult problems? Rebuilding things so they are better than they were when originally built? We're looking for apprentice and journeyman level carpenters. A strong set of multiple trade experience is preferred, but qualities of remarkable integrity, excellent customer service, attention to detail, and pride in a job well done are even more important. Work is available immediately for the right persons.
Requirements:
- Able to demonstrate experience in home improvement in several of the following areas - carpentry, siding, painting, drywall, bathrooms, kitchens, doors, windows, cabinets, minor roofing and floor installation and repair, basic plumbing and electrical, ceiling fans, light fixtures. Not all skills are required, but the more the better
- Willingness to take direction and learn from constructive criticism
- Ability to communicate with the owner and customer as often as required.
- Demonstrate an understanding of how managing costs affects profitability, but not at the risk of customer satisfaction
- Desire to learn new skills
- Have a minimum of two professional references
- Be able to pass criminal background check and drug test
- Valid driver's license, dependable vehicle and insurance
- Must own basic carpentry tools
- Cell phone and access to read and print email
- Ability to print and read Google Maps or other digital map service
- Capable of uploading and sending photos via email or text with a digital camera, cell phone or other digital device
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
