Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Wadsworth

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 P

Compensation: $15.50 per hour

Job Overview: In the role of a Quality Inspector, you will be crucial in guaranteeing that our products conform to the necessary quality standards prior to reaching our customers. Your duties will include performing inspections, spotting defects, and working with the production team to apply corrective measures. Position Summary: As a Quality Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet the required quality standards before they reach our customers. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, identifying defects, and collaborating with the production team to implement corrective actions. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
• Perform regular quality audits to ensure compliance with established quality systems and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality engineers and disposition analysts, to address and resolve quality issues.
• Maintain and fabricate inspection fixtures and gauges as required.
• Adhere to and follow strict protocols for quality assurance and control (QA/QC).
• Monitor and maintain the quarantine area inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Record and document inspections in both an Access database and our ERP system, IFS.
• Support the quality team with other quality-related tasks as needed, demonstrating a self-driven and proactive approach.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in quality inspection or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a keen ability to identify defects or non-conformities.
• Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills to report findings clearly and collaborate effectively with the team.
• Familiarity with QA/QC protocols and experience using inspection tools and gauges.
