Staff Accountant

Main function:

In addition to providing traditional accounting and tax services, our firm specializes in business valuation and forensic accounting. Duties:

• Reconciling client bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
• Preparing client journal entries
• Generating client financial statements
• Business & personal income tax preparation
• Assist in the preparation of business valuations
• Assist in conducting forensic examinations
• Assist in lost-profit and economic damage calculations
• Conduct tax research
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Owner

Working conditions:

• Position is full-time (will consider part-time)
• Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm
• 40 hours per week
• Attire is business casual

Employment Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is recommended
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
• Good business writing skills
• UltraTax experience a plus
• Must be able to work well independently
• Ability to organize and analyze large amounts of data
