RPh on the go is looking for a Pharmacist to join our team inNew York, New York This is a temp to perm position in a busy specialty pharmacy with ongoing needs.
Schedule:
Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm, Sat 9am to 2pm
Requirements:
- NY Pharmacist license (clear and active)
- Previous Retail, Mail Order or Specialty Pharmacy experience is required
- MUST have experience working with HIGH VOLUME 800+ rx per day
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time in one spot.
Essential Duties:
- The Staff Pharmacist shall perform duties assigned by the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC).
- Supervise all pharmacy technicians, students/interns, pharmacy support staff
- Ensure strict compliance with all standardized professional policies and procedures
- Responsible for all activities related to dispensing medications.
- Fill prescriptions, verifying instructions from prescribing practitioners on the proper amounts of medication to dispense to patients
