Restoration Estimator

Job Summary: As a Restoration Estimator or Assistant Estimator at BRS, you will be responsible for evaluating project requirements, preparing detailed estimates, and assisting in the preparation of project proposals and budgets. You will work closely with the project team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements.
• Interact with customers and project team members to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals.
• Produce accurate quantity and budget estimates.
• Provide support in developing scopes of work.
• Prepare, evaluate, and develop budgets, written proposals, documents, bids, and Change Orders for construction projects.
• Resolve cost differences and schedule meetings as necessary.
• Navigate and understand building codes.
• Handle multiple priorities effectively, working both independently and as part of a team.

Trade Requirements / Proficiencies:

• Minimum 1 to 3 years’ experience in construction estimating.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Ability to travel to building sites as required.
• Proficient with CAD, Bluebeam, takeoff software, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $25-$40/hour, commensurate with experience.
