Job Description: As a Staff Pharmacist for the second shift, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to residents in a long-term care setting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and verifying medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Dispensing medications and overseeing the preparation and compounding of pharmaceuticals.
- Providing drug information and education to healthcare staff and residents.
- Monitoring patient drug therapies and advising on interventions when necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and maintaining accurate documentation.
Shift:
- Monday - Friday: 2:00pm - 11:00pm
- Rotating weekends
Qualifications:
- Pharmacy experience
- LTC experience a plus
- Pennsylvania pharmacy license
