Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary: Installs, dismantles, assemble and/or moves heavy equipment and machinery in the corrugated box industry according to blueprints or drawings.
Desired Experience: Must be knowledgeable in rigging heavy equipment. Forklift certified.
Be able to travel 80% of work schedules.
Traveling to different states could be 1-2 months at a time. This is mandatory for the job as our clients are in the millwright business and many are out of state.
  • Using machinery or equipment, such as forklifts/versalifts, to move machines or mechanical parts.
  • Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving.
  • Attach moving parts and subassemblies to basic assembly unit.
  • Select gear such as cable, pulleys, straps, chains, according to load weights and sizes.
  • Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Aligns machines and equipment.
  • Arranges and drills mounting holes.
  • Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and materials.
  • Must work in full compliance with approved safety regulations.
  • Must wear approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
  • Stand, kneel or bend during work shifts.
