REPORTS TO: Recovery Specialist Supervisor

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

● Maintain a safe and respectful environment at all times with an emphasis on high quality services and customer satisfaction through hospitality and a thorough understanding of the withdrawal management, clinical stabilization processes..

● Facilitate the movement of patients around the building and grounds in a safe and orderly fashion.

● Provide transportation for patients and in support of program operations using the program vehicle when needed.

● Conduct alcohol and drug screens on patients using an approach that demonstrates respect and dignity for the patients.

● Assist with admission and discharge procedures as required.

● Oversee the patients' participation in daily programming and activities of daily living.

● Conduct searches of the building and patient belongings as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

● Minimum of high school diploma or Associates Degree preferred.

● Experience in addictions or mental health fields preferred.

● Must have excellent verbal, social and writing skills.

● Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies.

● Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with patients, families, staff and regulatory agencies.

● Must have basic ability in use of computers to be able make entries and utilize electronic health records.

Job Type: Full-time/ Part time/ Perdium

Salary: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
