  • Location: Ocala, FL
  • Position Type: Full-Time, Available to Start ASAP
  • Payrate: $18-$24/hour
  • Schedule: M-F 8:30 Am to 5:00 PM.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, and be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Someone with Paralegal experience or legal background would be a great fit for this role.
  • Minimum 1+ years of Foreclosure or Bankruptcy experience
  • Fair Housing regulations: 1 year (Required)
  • Bankruptcy/ Foreclosure: 1 year (Required)
  • Ability to build rapport quickly to convert inquiries into proper transfers to departments/agents for resolution
  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage time
  • Ability to communicate effectively – both in written and verbal form
  • Bachelors or relevant experience in the field.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to remain professional even under strenuous situations.

JOB SUMMARY

The Foreclosure and/or Bankruptcy Coordinator is responsible for managing delinquent loans through the foreclosure or Bankruptcy process according to investor, company, and department expectations, while maintaining compliance and quality standards. Monitor and audit individual REO transactions to ensure compliance with investor standards, review and approve list/sales prices, review and approve repair bids/invoices, reconcile sales proceeds, review contracts/HUD’s/Deed for accuracy and liaison between vendors.

Responsibilities

· Foreclosure

  • Responsible for servicing mortgage accounts to ensure that foreclosure activities are processed in compliance with all state and federal laws while maintaining compliance with Investor, Insurer, Agency and company guidelines. This includes the following:
    • Preparing and submitting Foreclosure referrals to foreclosure counsel on eligible delinquent loans.
    • Knowledgeable in agency, investor or insurer timelines and documents requirements for judicial and non-judicial foreclosures.
    • Receives, reviews, and sights exceptions to counsel on all legal documents as it relates to the foreclosure action.
    • Manages various inquiries/problems relative to the execution of foreclosure documents.
  • Monitors attorney performance regarding response time to issues/problems and/or revision of legal documents.
  • Diligently follows up on all outstanding requests and telephone calls from internal and external partners.
  • Manages exception reporting used as key controls for minimizing risk.
  • Knowledgeable in agency, investor or insurer timelines and documents requirements for judicial and non-judicial foreclosures.
  • Monitors Foreclosure documents, identifying trends or risks associated with the portfolio.

Bankruptcy

  • Responsible for servicing mortgage accounts to ensure the bankruptcy is processed in compliance with all state and federal laws while maintaining compliance with Investor, Insurer, Agency and company guidelines. This includes the following:
    • Conducts complete review of bankruptcy files to ensure all default timeframes have been met
    • Manages bankruptcy proceedings on assigned cases by interacting and instructing various parties such as mortgagors, attorneys, investors, insurers, trustees, appraisers and any other party involved with the bankruptcy
    • Monitors attorney performance by reviewing all proceedings, records and timeframes in addition to working all system/database activities throughout the bankruptcy process
    • Accesses bankruptcy trustee websites to determine the status on payments to trustee
    • Audits all bankruptcy accounts for payment compliance and ensures proper application to system of record

COMPUTER & EQUIPMENT SKILLS

  • · Intermediate in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • · Word processing (speed and accuracy)
  • · MSP or FICS’ Mortgage Servicer a plus
  • · Email · Internet software · Use typical office equipment (computers, fax, phones, copiers, scanners, projectors, etc.)
