The Assistant Teacher is a valuable member of a team and is responsible for supporting the Head Teacher in maintaining a nurturing and peaceful educational environment. This position offers a wonderful opportunity to experience Montessori and to be a part of a very special community of professional educators, engaged students, and supportive families that has been remaking learning for 20 years.

We seek a permanent full-time assistant teacher with hours of 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. to join our talented staff in late August 2024. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and experience with and a love for working with young children. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic and is a team player who is excited to grow professionally and collaborate with others to further the school's mission of service to the child. A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred, but other degrees will be considered.

We offer paid time off and health insurance and retirement plan contributions for those who are eligible, as well as professional development opportunities.

Compensation and benefits package will vary according to education and experience. Base pay of $16.00 per hour applies to those candidates without a college degree. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. Our school policy requires our team members to be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.
