Occupational Therapist

We are looking for a Certified Hand Therapist or a Licensed Occupational Therapist who enjoys the outpatient/orthopedic setting. Experience preferred but not required. Certification in Hand Therapy (CHT) also preferred but not required. Per Diem position available (12 hrs to 20 hrs) with possibility of becoming Full Time. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to speaking with you

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate rehabilitation of patients with emotional, physical or mental disabilities
• Monitor, evaluate and assess patient rehabilitative programs
• Convey treatment results and patient progress to relevant parties
• Organize and update patient records
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment

Qualifications:

• License in Occupational Therapy
• Previous experience in occupational therapy adult / orthopedic setting preferred but not required
• Certified in Hand Therapy (CHT) preferred but not required
• Splinting experience preferred but not required
• New grads welcome
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Passion to help and motivate others
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
