The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our 70 self-pour Taphouse operations, including managing staff, ensuring high-quality customer service, maintaining inventory, and coordinating entertainment. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for our patron

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Staff Management:

• Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of tap-wall ambassadors, and support staff.

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.

Customer Service:

• Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met and maintained.

• Handle customer complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.

• Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business.

Operations Management:

• Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, scheduling, and inventory management.

• Monitor and manage budgets, including labor costs, food and beverage costs, and other operational expenses.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

• Entertainment Coordination:

• Plan and coordinate entertainment events, such as live music, trivia nights, and themed parties.

• Collaborate with entertainers, DJs, and promoters to create a diverse and engaging entertainment schedule.

• Marketing and Promotion:

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

• Utilize social media, local advertising, and community events to promote the business.

• Financial Management:

• Prepare financial reports, including sales, inventory, and labor cost analyses.

• Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

 

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar managerial role within the bar, restaurant, or hospitality industry.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.

• Knowledge of current food and beverage trends and best practices.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to create and maintain a positive and energetic atmosphere for both staff and patrons.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience.

• Experience in marketing and event coordination.

• Certification in food safety and alcohol service (e.g., ServSafe, TIPS).
