INSPECTION SUPERVISOR (2nd SHIFT)

What to expect:

You will be part of a global inspection team assuring quality of components and assemblies that this global aerospace leader is sourcing from one or more suppliers in this area. Once on the team, you will be deployed through SQA’s operations center based on client need and each supplier’s production schedule.

Location: Stuart, FL| Compensation: $40-$50 | Contract: 12 months | Manage 14 Inspectors | Schedule: 2nd shift, 2:30pm-11pm | 

Responsibilities: 

• Provide direction to inspectors to ensure quality requirements and performance goals are achieved. Coach, mentor and train inspection personnel to enhance their skill sets.
• Ensure aircraft structures comply with applicable drawings/specifications.
• Set a good leadership example for staff to follow and streamline inspection methods and processes.
• Observes and verifies the accuracy and adequacy of the inspection activities and records.
• Maintains quality metrics and reports, as required, and implements appropriate preventive/corrective action to improve quality.
• Supervises the day-to-day activities of the quality inspection team on the inspection of materials, processes, parts, assemblies, finished parts to assure quality products.
• Provides quality expertise and training for all inspection positions in order to maintain a smooth flowing operation.
• Routinely inspects products as needed for all product lines.
• Participate in the daily Daher Supervisor meetings ensuring Quality items/issues for the scope of the work are discussed.

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Must have Aerostructure commodity experience.  
• Must know what these are: Wing Center Section, Bulkhead Wheel Wells, Section 48, and Horizontal Stabilizers.
• Candidate can come from anywhere within the United States. All Expenses Paid.  
• Must be US citizen and pass criminal background check.  
• Project is estimated to be 12 months, full time.
