Service Parts Person

 

Summary/Objective

This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Assistant at ACS Commercial Services, LLC. The Procurement Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to purchasing and procurement. This includes creating purchase orders, utilizing analytical skills to assess procurement needs, and effectively communicating with vendors and internal teams.

Essential Functions

- Service Parts Person

  • Facilitate new improved procurement strategies across all channels of purchasing.
  • Purchase Orders, Purchasing, and Procurement skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess procurement needs.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Proficiency in relevant procurement software and tools
  • Experience in procurement or purchasing.
  • Delegate tasks and supervise the work of purchasing and procurement agents across all departments.
  • Manage every aspect of the supply chain and notify the senior management team of any possible obstacles to ideal efficiency.
  • Collect and report key metrics that will reduce our overall expenses while increasing productivity.
  • Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks.
  • Coordinate deliveries.
  • Maintains customer websites and ACS database according to ACS processes and procedures.
  • Be able to check in or check out daily.
  • Must have regular work attendance / good work attendance habits.
  • Have a good work ethic and availability to work.
  • Must be able to answer the phone and make phone calls.

Supervisory Responsibility None

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Please Note: Shift schedule is determined by the needs of the Department.

No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

  • Experience in using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PDF’s, JPEGS

Preferred Education and Experience 2 + Service Parts Experience - Procurement

  • Associates degree / College Degree Preferred
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PDF’s, JPEGS

Additional Eligibility Qualifications Must be able to type at least 45 words per minute.

· Strong Microsoft Office Suite

· Intermediate and above Microsoft Outlook

· Intermediate and above Microsoft Excel

· Customer Focused & Customer Driven To Meet and Exceed Customer Expectation

· Forty-five (45) words per minute
