Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced HR Assistant to join our team. The HR Assistant will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and scheduling training for delivery drivers. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of HR experience, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and a strong understanding of I-9 laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute recruitment efforts for delivery drivers, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Conduct interviews with potential candidates and assist in the selection process.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions for new delivery drivers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in onboarding new hires, including completing I-9 forms and verifying employment eligibility.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including training documentation and performance evaluations.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed, including data entry, filing, and scheduling.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment and training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of I-9 laws and experience with employment eligibility verification.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
