The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and extensive knowledge of fabrication, inspection, and testing services for close-tolerance machined components and custom mechanical equipment.

What you will do:

  • Oversee the implementation of our ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Create and maintain quality plans to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain processes needed for the quality management system.
  • Serve as a lead auditor to ensure the effectiveness of the QMS and lead the development of countermeasures to eliminate quality problems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve quality assurance processes.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all inspection and testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Stay current with industry standards and best practices to ensure continuous improvement of the QMS.

What you bring:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, with a focus on quality engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience with the implementation of ISO or equivalent QMS standards, including auditing and third-party accreditation.
  • Quality Management System standards such as ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, and Nadcap​​​​.
  • Maintain high standards of product conformance to drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
  • Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
