Maintenance Parts Coordinator Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Parts Coordinator to join our team. The Maintenance Parts Coordinator will be responsible for efficiently order, plan and schedule maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance, reliability, and uptime. This role will involve collaborating closely with various departments to coordinate resources and schedules, as well as maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule and coordinate corrective and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Develop weekly maintenance schedule.
  • Process and receive orders for supplies and parts from various departments.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and ensure stock levels are maintained.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to procure parts and supplies in a timely manner.
  • Inspect received shipments for accuracy and quality, resolving any discrepancies or issues as needed.
  • Organize and maintain the parts storage room, ensuring efficient accessibility and inventory.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to reconcile discrepancies and ensure all is entered into QuickBase.
  • Collaborate with management to determine future parts needed.
  • Generate reports in database on inventory levels, order status and supply usage as required.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding order status and availability.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding purchasing and inventory management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs in parts procurement and inventory management processes.
  • Assist maintenance as directed by maintenance manager

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a food manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with an inventory management software system.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and comply with regulations.
