Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Pay: $22/hr.
Hours: 1st shift: 8:00am - 4:00pm Mon- Fri
Position Type: Temporary (first week of October through 12/13/24)
Location: Elgin, IL
Requirements: Resume, Interview, BG, DT
Manufacturing
o Contact vendors for current pricing and availability of raw materials.
o Process purchase orders and place orders with raw material vendors.
o Arrange transportation for shipment of purchase orders as needed.
o Receive raw materials into the inventory system.
o E-mail inbound raw material receivers to NJ office.
o Obtain Data sheets, MSDS and COA for raw materials
o Inventory Cycle Counts – initiate worksheets for physical
count of raw materials and enter
inventory count into the inventory system.
o Process and request warehouse transfers of raw materials.
o Transfer raw materials in the inventory systems.
Warehousing – Shipping & Receiving
o Process the packing list, MSDS, and COA’s for customer orders.
o Schedule the transportation for outbound shipments.
o Process Bill of Lading or Ups label for all shipments.
o E-mail outbound finished product shipping documents to NJ office.
o Maintain report for shipments from Elgin Location.
o Maintain files for customer orders and shipments.
o Inventory Cycle Counts – initiate worksheets for physical
count of finished products and enter inventory
count into the inventory system.
o Process and request warehouse transfers of finished products.
o Transfer finished products in the inventory system.
Education
○ High School Graduate or higher.
Training
○ Proficient in Excel and Word.
