Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMinimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Pharmacist to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas. This position offers a contract role with a potential for permanent hire, based on performance and fit. Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
  • Direct pharmacy technicians and support staff in the daily operation.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the drug enforcement administration, and the food and drug administration.
  • Monitor patient drug therapies and provide advice on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage.
  • Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care in coordination with the healthcare team.
  • Conduct health and wellness screenings.
  • Provide immunizations, and other medical services, like taking blood pressure, temperature measurements, and checking blood sugar levels.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Enhance pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.

Shift:

  • Monday-Friday:8:30am - 5:30pm
  • Rotating Saturdays

Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy experience.
  • Long term care Experience a plus
  • Arkansas Pharmacistlicense.
