Established in 1992, Cole Technologies Group (CTG), is an industry leader in the construction industry-at-large, delivering award-winning compliance engineering services which include code-compliance special inspections, field and laboratory materials performance evaluations, non-destructive evaluations, routine and specialty materials testing, failure investigations, and environmental consulting.
We're currently seeking an AWS Certified Welding Inspector who will inspect and record the results of specific inspections to verify conformance to applicable codes, project plans and job specifications.
What You Will Do:
- Read/review construction documents (drawings, specifications, etc.).
- Use safety equipment, supplies, and procedures to perform job duties as required.
- Perform special inspections based on applicable certification requirements (concrete, welding, bolting, masonry, soils, etc.)
- Prepare detailed field inspection reports which include photographs.
- Submit completed reports to the office within 24 hours of completing assigned tasks.
- Clean field equipment used for field testing.
- Report any defective equipment to Dispatcher.
What You Will Bring:
- Experience with welding special inspections
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) from the American Welding Society - no exceptions
- Fluent English with excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to climb ladders of varying heights, maneuver into small spaces, and lift objects up to 40 lbs.
Computer and Technical Skills
- Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook
- Proficient use of company-issued tablet, cell phone, or other electronic devices at the required pace to perform job duties, use computer applications, and communicate via e-mail.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $35.00 - $46.00 per hour
Salary is commensurate with experience and certification.
