JOB DESCRIPTION:     DENTURE TECHNICIAN

SCHEDULED SHIFT:    MONDAY – THURSDAY, 7:05am to 5:05pm (30 minute lunch daily)

REPORTS TO:   LAB DIRECTOR

COMPENSATION: $14 - $15/hr STARTING PAY WITH INCREASES BASED ON GOAL MET DURING TRAINING

 

 Liberty Dental Centers is seeking a skilled Denture Technician to join our dental lab team.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and committed to providing excellent customer service.

Denture Technicians are highly motivated dental professionals who specialize in crafting high-quality dentures and other dental prosthetics. They must work closely with the Dentist, Dental Hygienists, and Dental Assistants to create individualized solutions to meet the needs of each patient.

 

Denture Technicians have the following duties and responsibilities:

Bottom of Form

  • Create dentures, partials, and other dental prosthetics based on dental impressions and Dentist’s specifications
  • Repair damaged dentures or make adjustments to improve comfort or fit
  • Conduct quality control, inspecting each product for flaws or imperfections
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools to craft and adjust dental prosthetics
  • Collaborate with dental team to ensure patient satisfaction and quality of service
  • Perform chairside tasks including assisting with obtaining dental impressions and other necessary denture steps to obtain measurements for the denture fabrication process
  • Document all work performed, materials used, and time spent for billing and record-keeping purposes
  • Keep abreast of latest industry techniques and materials to provide the best possible patient care
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Order and manage the inventory of dental materials and supplies

 

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Denture Technician (preferred but not required)
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to lift lab supplies which may at times exceed 30 pounds
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Degree or certificate in dental technology is a plus.
