Foreman

MRC Towers, Inc is looking for qualified and motivated individuals to join our unique and growing company. MRC Towers prides itself on offering a great culture and work environment, while ensuring high production, quality, and most importantly, safety, on our job sites.

The Foreman manages and oversees all construction on a given project. The Foreman is responsible for taking a set of construction drawings and articulating to Tower Techs and Top Hands what is needed to be done to produce a safe, high quality, and profitable project.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Safety Conscious
  • Physically able and willing to climb cell towers up to 400ft.
  • Travel up to two weeks at a time
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions, which sometimes include more extreme hot or cold weather conditions.
  • Foreman Experience greater than 2-years
  • Complete all necessary training (Comp Climber, OSHA, CPR, First Aid, Etc.)
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Ability to read site plans and understand the Scope of Work
  • Competent with test gear (Anritsu, ODM, and PIM)
  • Manage the safety and performance of a crew of 2-4 Tower Technicians
  • Serve as the primary contact for subcontractors on RF projects and collaborate with customers and site techs.
  • Able to perform and train Coax and Fiber routing/handling.
  • Knowledge of tower rigging techniques and capstan operations
  • Run required lines to top of the tower; grounds coax lines and build different sizes and types of connectors.
  • Proficient with installation of antennas, RRH’s, ground kits, RET systems.
  • Knows the hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working on or near energized lines and equipment.
  • Installation and modifying sector mounts, T-Booms, platforms, and banding of monopoles.
  • Installation of Ice Bridges.
  • Installing, testing, and troubleshooting RRU/BBU equipment on towers.
  • Complete site documentation including closeouts, JSA’s, test results, etc.
  • Must be able to pass drug screen and background check and MVR.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
