Responsibilities:

• Prepare internal and external monthly financial statements and annual reviews
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of sales tax and use tax laws; prepare state sales tax returns
• Ensure payroll compliance and handle quarterly and year-end payroll reporting
• Manage reliable cash flow projections
• Perform timely bank reconciliations at month-end
• Collaborate with an external CPA to ensure corporate income tax compliance and accurate financial statements
• Establish and maintain systems and controls to verify data integrity
• Communicate professionally with co-workers, management, and customers
• Conduct audits and assist with risk management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• 5+ years of related experience
• Proven experience in financial management, reporting, and compliance
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in financial software and tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
