Paid Training on September 12th (3-8 hours)
Event is on September 13 and 14 (9-13 hour shift each day)
Approx 30 hour gig over the course of 3 days
**Hourly Rate:** $20-$25 per hour
**Position Type:** Temporary
**About Us:**
The Model Experience is thrilled to host the Fashion Week Festival, a premier event celebrating the latest in fashion and design. We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team and help ensure the success of this exciting event. Our team members will play a crucial role in representing our company positively, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
**Overview:**
We are hiring for various roles including Check-In, Door/Ticketing, Ushers, Back of House Support, and Fashion Show Assistants. These temporary positions are ideal for individuals with some event experience or those pursuing a career in fashion and events.
**Key Roles & Responsibilities:**
- **Check-In:** Greet and check-in guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. Verify tickets or registration details and assist with any inquiries.
- **Door/Ticketing:** Manage entry points, scan tickets, and handle any issues related to ticketing. Provide excellent customer service to guests.
- **Ushers:** Guide guests to their seats or designated areas, answer questions, and provide assistance as needed.
- **Back of House:** Support behind-the-scenes operations, including setting up and breaking down equipment, assisting with logistics, and ensuring the backstage area runs smoothly.
- **Fashion Show Assistants:** Assist with the organization and execution of fashion shows, including coordinating models, managing backstage logistics, and ensuring that the show proceeds according to schedule.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in event roles or a strong interest in pursuing a career in fashion or events.
- Must be trustworthy, reliable, and able to represent The Model Experience in a positive manner.
- Excellent people skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Must be adept at taking and giving direction.
- Ability to stay on your feet for extended periods and perform some light lifting (up to 20-30 lbs).
- Commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for guests of all backgrounds, genders, and identities.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 20-30 lbs as needed.
